Here is what the page “007 First Light Switch 2 Preorders Get Exclusive Pierce Brosnan GoldenEye Suit with Oversi” contains. IO Interactive has set a March 18, 2027 release date for the Switch 2 version of 007 First Light, and preorder customers will receive an exclusive in-game outfit: the GoldenEye Suit, featuring the suit and oversized tie worn by Pierce Brosnan in the 1995 film GoldenEye. The oversized tie was a notable fashion choice of the era, and this bonus is only available on Switch 2, likely due to the franchise's history with Nintendo—the 1997 GoldenEye 007 is one of the most iconic N64 games ever.
First Light has sold over 4 million copies and received strong reviews, but the Switch 2 version faced multiple delays from its original May 2026 window. IO cited various factors, and the studio has also dealt with layoffs after Xbox pulled funding for a separate fantasy project.
