“6 X-Men Heroes Marvel Wants Fans to Forget” — what this page in the network covers. The X-Men franchise is a cornerstone of Marvel Comics, but not every mutant has achieved iconic status. In fact, some heroes have been quietly sidelined by the publisher due to controversial storylines, outdated character concepts, or simply a lack of fan enthusiasm. This list highlights six such characters, from obscure mutants with bizarre powers to once-prominent heroes who fell out of favor.
Understanding why Marvel might want to distance itself from these figures provides insight into the ever-evolving nature of comic book storytelling and brand management. As Marvel continues to expand its cinematic universe, these forgotten heroes serve as a reminder that not every character is destined for the spotlight. The publisher's selective memory underscores the challenges of maintaining a cohesive and marketable superhero lineup. The full version stays on the original page, which this listing opens directly.
