Content overview: “A’ja Wilson and Las Vegas Aces Target No. 2 Seed in Final WNBA Week Amid Eliminated Oppone”. With four remaining games against teams already eliminated from playoff contention, the Las Vegas Aces—led by MVP-caliber forward A’ja Wilson—are poised to seize the WNBA’s No. 2 playoff seed during the final week of the regular season. The Aces currently sit just behind the Connecticut Sun in the standings, making each game a critical opportunity to clinch home-court advantage in the semifinals.
Wilson, a two-time league MVP, has been instrumental in their push, averaging 26.8 points and 10.4 rebounds per game this season, while maintaining elite defensive presence. Their upcoming matchups against the Chicago Sky, Indiana Fever, Atlanta Dream, and Phoenix Mercury present low-risk, high-reward scenarios for a decisive playoff positioning move. The strategic advantage of facing eliminated teams allows the Aces to rest key players while still maximizing win totals—something crucial as the league tightens its playoff race.
