The ad, reported by Russian business newspaper Vedomosti, places Ovechkin alongside high-profile figures including Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov, United Russia’s top parliamentary candidate, and RT editor-in-chief Margarita Simonyan—key voices in Russia’s state-backed media ecosystem.
