Here is what the page “Amanda Plummer, Christopher Chung, T’Nia Miller Join Alfonso Cuarón’s Apple Series ‘Ascens” contains. Apple TV’s upcoming series Ascension, from Oscar-winning director Alfonso Cuarón, has added three series regulars: Amanda Plummer, Christopher Chung, and T’Nia Miller. They join previously announced lead Caitríona Balfe, who also executive produces, and Bill Nighy. Plummer is known for Run and Butterfly Kiss, Chung for Slow Horses and My Brilliant Career, and Miller for The Haunting of Bly Manor and VisionQuest.
The show, inspired by an original idea from Cuarón, is shrouded in secrecy but is expected to be a high-profile event series for the streamer. Cuarón’s involvement signals prestige storytelling, and the cast additions bring a mix of veteran and rising talent. The series marks Cuarón’s first major television project since his acclaimed film Roma, and Apple is betting big on his vision. The full version stays on the original page, which this listing opens directly.
