A closer look at “Apple HomeView Hands-On: First Smart Display With Siri AI Impresses”, exactly as the source publishes it. Apple has officially entered the smart display market with the HomeView, and I had the chance to go hands-on with the device ahead of its release. The HomeView features a 7-inch square touchscreen that immediately stands out for its crisp, vibrant display, and it comes equipped with built-in Siri AI, positioning it as a central hub for controlling smart home devices, managing daily tasks, and connecting the household.
This move puts Apple in direct competition with Amazon's Echo Show and Google's Nest Hub, but with the added advantage of deep integration into the Apple ecosystem, including HomeKit, Apple Music, and iCloud. During my time with the HomeView, the build quality felt premium, consistent with Apple's design language, and the interface was intuitive, with large, glanceable widgets for weather, calendar, and smart home controls.
