A closer look at “Apple HomeView Wall Mount Costs Extra $59, Bringing True Price to $358”, exactly as the source publishes it. Apple's new HomeView smart home display, announced today, starts at $299 for both the speaker base and wall-mounted models. However, buyers opting for the wall-mounted version face an additional cost: the required mounting hardware is not included and starts at $59, bringing the real price to at least $358. This pricing strategy may surprise consumers who expect a wall-mountable device to come with the necessary bracket.
The HomeView is positioned as a central hub for controlling smart home devices, displaying information, and making video calls, competing with similar products from Amazon and Google. The extra charge for the mount could influence purchasing decisions, especially for budget-conscious shoppers or those planning multiple installations. Apple has not clarified if third-party mounts will be supported, which could offer cheaper alternatives. The full version stays on the original page, which this listing opens directly.
