“Are Bijan Robinson and Brian Robinson Jr. Related? Falcons RB Duo Confuses NFL Fans” — what this page in the network covers. Atlanta Falcons fans and NFL watchers have been doing double-takes over running backs Bijan Robinson and Brian Robinson Jr., who share a last name but are not related. Bijan, the eighth overall pick in the 2023 NFL Draft out of Texas, earned Pro Bowl honors as a rookie with 1,463 scrimmage yards. Brian Robinson Jr., a third-round pick in 2022 from Alabama, joined the Falcons in 2025 after three seasons with the Washington Commanders, where he totaled 2,407 rushing yards.
The confusion is understandable: both are young, productive backs now in the same backfield. But their paths to Atlanta were entirely separate, and no family connection exists. The duo could form a dynamic one-two punch for the Falcons, but fans should know they are teammates by trade, not by blood.
