“ATX TV Festival 2027 'Sweet 16' Lineup: Revenge Reunion, Freaks and Geeks Pilot Reading” — what this page in the network covers. The ATX TV Festival has announced its first programming for 2027, set for June 3-6 in Austin, Texas. Celebrating its 16th season, the festival adopts a 'Sweet 16' theme, focusing on coming-of-age stories and teen/young adult storytelling, while also honoring shows turning 16. Key highlights include a reunion for the ABC drama 'Revenge' and a live table read of the 'Freaks and Geeks' pilot.
The festival, a major event for TV fans and industry professionals, will feature panels, screenings, and conversations that explore the cultural impact of these series. 'Revenge,' which premiered in 2011, and 'Freaks and Geeks,' a cult classic from 1999, both resonate with themes of identity and transformation, aligning with the 'Sweet 16' motif.
