Here is what the page “Blue Eye Samurai Season 2 Adds Osgood Perkins, Keone Young, and Ke Huy Quan to Cast for Ja” contains. Netflix's acclaimed animated series Blue Eye Samurai is expanding its voice cast for its upcoming second season, set to premiere in January 2027. IGN exclusively revealed at Fall Fan Fest 2026 that three new actors are joining the show: Osgood Perkins, Keone Young, and Oscar winner Ke Huy Quan. While their roles remain under wraps, the additions signal a deeper story and higher stakes for the Emmy-winning series.
The first season followed Mizu, a mixed-race swordmaster on a revenge quest in Edo-period Japan, and earned widespread praise for its animation and storytelling. With these new cast members, Season 2 is poised to attract both returning fans and new viewers, reinforcing Netflix's investment in adult animation.
