Content overview: “Buffy the Vampire Slayer's 10 Most Powerful Characters, Ranked”. From the Slayer herself to ancient gods and primordial evils, Buffy the Vampire Slayer introduced a pantheon of formidable beings whose power shaped the fate of Sunnydale and beyond. Ranking the top 10 most powerful characters reveals how raw strength, magical mastery, and cosmic influence set them apart. Buffy Summers, despite her human limitations, stands among the elite due to her resilience, tactical brilliance, and ability to defeat foes far above her weight class.
Yet she is not alone: allies like Willow Rosenberg, whose magic once threatened to destroy the world, and the vampire with a soul, Angel, also claim spots on the list. Villains such as Glory, a hell-god banished to Earth, and the First Evil, an incorporeal entity predating creation, demonstrate the show's escalation of threats.
