Here is what the page “C-3PO to Co-Host Animated ‘Star Wars’ Alterna-Cast of 2027 Super Bowl on Disney Channels” contains. Disney is bringing a galaxy far, far away to the gridiron for Super Bowl LXI in 2027. C-3PO, the iconic protocol droid from Lucasfilm’s “Star Wars” saga, will serve as a key personality in a real-time animated alternate telecast of the Big Game. The special presentation will air across Disney Channel, Disney XD, and Disney+, offering families and fans a unique, family-friendly viewing experience alongside ESPN’s traditional coverage.
The move underscores Disney’s strategy of leveraging its vast intellectual property to expand NFL viewership beyond conventional sports audiences.
