ChromaContinuity is a specialized software platform built for film and television productions to manage makeup continuity with precision. It enables teams to track character appearances, prosthetics, and daily looks across multiple shooting days, ensuring visual consistency from scene to scene. By digitizing traditional methods like photo logs and handwritten notes, it reduces reliance on memory and manual documentation, minimizing the risk of errors that could disrupt the narrative flow.
The system supports complex production needs, including long-running series and intricate makeup designs involving prosthetics or special effects. It acts as a centralized hub where artists and supervisors can store, review, and compare visual references in real time. This streamlines collaboration between departments and helps maintain a cohesive look throughout filming, reshoots, and post-production.
