Despite escalating tensions, U.S. President Donald Trump stated that the conflict with Iran could conclude soon, hinting at an "amazing two days" ahead. His remarks come amid ongoing rhetoric between the two nations, with both sides exchanging strong warnings. A senior Iranian military official threatened to disrupt regional trade if the United States maintains its naval blockade, warning that Iran could fully block shipping in the Persian Gulf, the Sea of Oman, and the Red Sea.
The situation remains volatile, with no immediate de-escalation in sight. While Trump suggests a potential resolution is near, Iran continues to assert its readiness to respond forcefully to any further U.S. actions. The exchange underscores the fragile state of relations, as both countries maintain aggressive postures despite diplomatic overtures. The international community watches closely for developments that could shift the trajectory of this long-standing standoff.
