“Druski to Make History as First Online Content Creator to Host 'Saturday Night Live' on No” — what this page in the network covers. Comedian and internet personality Druski, whose real name is Drew Desbordes, will host the Nov. 7 episode of "Saturday Night Live," becoming the first online content creator to take on the role. Variety confirmed the news with multiple sources, though representatives for "SNL" did not immediately respond to a request for comment and a rep for Druski could not be reached.
The booking marks a significant milestone for the long-running NBC sketch show, which has traditionally drawn hosts from film, television, music, and sports. Druski built a massive following through viral comedy sketches on platforms like Instagram, YouTube, and TikTok, where his characters and parodies of hip-hop culture have earned him millions of fans and collaborations with major artists.
