FromSoftware has announced a last-minute delay for a major new release in the Elden Ring franchise, pushing its launch to April. The game, long anticipated by fans, was originally scheduled for an earlier date but will now see a significant postponement. This marks another notable shift in the timeline for content tied to the popular title, which first launched in 2022 and remains central to the studio’s ongoing projects.
The delay comes as part of a broader pattern of extended development cycles for key titles from the studio. While no specific reasons were given in the announcement, such changes are not uncommon in high-profile game development. Fans are now awaiting further details on the new release window, with expectations high for what promises to be a substantial addition to the Elden Ring universe.
