HBO confirmed the renewal of The White Lotus for a fourth season in January 2025, with production set to begin in 2026. The new season will be filmed in France, continuing the series’ pattern of shifting locations for each installment. The show’s creator and executive producer, Mike White, is expected to return to write and direct multiple episodes. While specific details about the plot or cast remain under wraps, the move to France suggests a continuation of the luxury resort setting that has defined the series’ tone and themes.
The announcement follows the conclusion of Season 3, which aired in 2024 and featured a story centered around a high-end resort in Sicily. Fans are anticipating how the new setting will influence the narrative, character dynamics, and social commentary. As with previous seasons, the fourth installment is expected to explore class, privilege, and interpersonal conflict through a mix of dark humor and dramatic tension. No official release date has been announced yet.
