Content overview: “Fabio Wardley Offered Route Back to World Heavyweight Title After Daniel Dubois Rematch De”. Fabio Wardley is set to receive another opportunity to fight for a world heavyweight title following his rematch loss to Daniel Dubois. The British heavyweight was stopped by Dubois in their second encounter, but his promoter has confirmed that Wardley will be given a path back to championship contention after a period of rest and recovery. The defeat was a setback for Wardley, who had previously held the British and Commonwealth titles and was ranked highly by the WBA, WBO, and IBF.
Dubois, who retained his IBF heavyweight title, has now won both meetings between the two, with the first fight ending in a controversial technical decision.
