This page covers recent claims made by Donald Trump about damage to the Lincoln Memorial Reflecting Pool, specifically a large gash in its liner. Trump has given varying estimates of the length of the damage, ranging from 250 to 350 feet, and later stating 300 yards. However, photos and video footage of the drained pool do not show clear evidence supporting the presence of such extensive damage. Fact-checkers are actively examining these conflicting accounts to determine the accuracy of the statements regarding vandalism at the iconic site.
