Content overview: “Ghostbusters Franchise Returns With New Christmas Movie 'Nightmare on 34th Street' at Sony”. Sony is reportedly developing a new Ghostbusters movie subtitled 'Nightmare on 34th Street,' according to a recent report. The film would mark a holiday-themed return for the beloved franchise, which has spanned multiple generations since the original 1984 classic. While plot details remain under wraps, the subtitle suggests a spooky yuletide adventure, possibly set in New York City, where the Ghostbusters first battled supernatural forces.
Sony has not officially confirmed the project, but the news has already sparked excitement among fans eager for more paranormal comedy. If greenlit, this would be the latest installment following 2021's 'Ghostbusters: Afterlife,' which successfully revived the series for a new audience while honoring its legacy. The Christmas setting could offer a fresh twist, blending festive cheer with ghostly thrills. The full version stays on the original page, which this listing opens directly.
