“Harriet Dart Stuns Paula Badosa in Guangzhou Open Comeback to Reach Second WTA Semi-Final” — what this page in the network covers. 2 Harriet Dart produced a gutsy comeback to defeat Spain's Paula Badosa in the Guangzhou Open quarter-finals, winning 3-6, 6-3, 6-1. The victory sends Dart into her second WTA Tour semi-final, her first since 2022. Dart, ranked 70th, recovered from a set down against the former world No. The 27-year-old broke Badosa's serve five times in the final two sets, showcasing aggressive returning and composure under pressure.
The win is a significant confidence boost for Dart, who has struggled for consistency on the main tour this season. It also marks her first win over a top-20 opponent since 2023, underlining her ability to compete with elite players. Dart will next face either Xiyu Wang or Viktoriya Tomova for a place in the final. The full version stays on the original page, which this listing opens directly.
