“How to Watch Amanda Seyfried’s Elizabeth Holmes Series ‘The Dropout’” — what this page in the network covers. Amanda Seyfried stars as disgraced Theranos founder Elizabeth Holmes in the Hulu limited series ‘The Dropout,’ which chronicles the rise and fall of the blood-testing startup that defrauded investors and patients. The show, based on the ABC News podcast of the same name, explores how Holmes dropped out of Stanford at 19 and built a $9 billion company on a technology that never worked. Seyfried’s performance earned critical acclaim, including an Emmy nomination, for capturing Holmes’s distinctive voice and intense ambition.
‘The Dropout’ also features Naveen Andrews as Sunny Balwani, Holmes’s former business partner and boyfriend, and a supporting cast that includes Stephen Fry and William H. The series is available to stream exclusively on Hulu, with all eight episodes released in 2022. For the complete material, the listing points back to the source inside the network.
