A closer look at “Hulu Developing 'These Summer Storms' Series Adaptation from Erin & Sara Foster and Melani”, exactly as the source publishes it. Hulu is developing a drama series based on Sarah MacLean's 2025 novel 'These Summer Storms,' with Erin and Sara Foster executive producing under their Fatigue Sisters Productions banner and Melanie Marnich attached to write and executive produce. The project comes from 20th Television, marking another high-profile collaboration for the Foster sisters, whose Netflix comedy 'Nobody Wants This' recently launched its third season.
The novel, a gripping family saga set against a summer storm on a remote island, explores secrets, betrayal, and survival, offering rich material for a prestige drama adaptation. With Hulu's track record for literary adaptations and the Fosters' growing influence in television, this project signals a strategic move into darker, more dramatic storytelling.
