Ugandan opposition figure Bobi Wine, who recently emerged in Washington after weeks in hiding within Uganda, stated in an interview with FRANCE 24 that he plans to return to his home country despite ongoing threats to his safety. He emphasized the continued danger he faces and called on international authorities to impose sanctions on Ugandan President Yoweri Museveni and his son. The remarks come amid heightened political tensions following recent crackdowns on dissent in Uganda.
