Spain’s Audiovisual From Spain, managed by the Spanish trade and investment agency ICEX, is showcasing new short films at the Cannes festival. The lineup features the recently revealed shorts “La Tarara” and “La Llama,” demonstrating the country’s commitment to promoting its cinematic talent on the international stage. These additions complement the previously announced film “Flamenco” by Carla Simón, further enriching Spain’s presence at the festival.
This initiative is part of the 2026 “Where Talent Ignites” program, which aims to highlight emerging and established Spanish filmmakers. By presenting these works at Cannes, Audiovisual From Spain seeks to enhance the visibility and influence of Spanish audiovisual productions worldwide, reinforcing Spain’s role as a vibrant hub for creative storytelling in the global film community.
