Here is what the page “iPad mini 7 rumor: no speaker grilles, possible water resistance” contains. Apple's next iPad mini may ditch the speaker grilles, according to a new rumor, potentially paving the way for the first water-resistant iPad mini. The current model has four speaker grilles, but removing them could help Apple achieve a higher IP rating, similar to iPhones. This change would align with Apple's history of removing ports and openings, like the headphone jack and SIM tray, to improve durability and design.
The iPad mini is popular among students and professionals who value portability, and water resistance would make it more versatile for use in various environments. While Apple has not confirmed the rumor, the move could differentiate the iPad mini from larger iPads and attract buyers looking for a rugged compact tablet. If true, expect the change to be highlighted as a key feature in Apple's marketing. The full version stays on the original page, which this listing opens directly.
