Danny Danon, Israel’s Ambassador to the United Nations, discusses the close partnership between Israel and the United States amid ongoing negotiations with Iran. He reassures that despite perceived tensions, the US remains committed to representing Israeli interests effectively. Danon highlights the importance of a firm stance against Iran, cautioning against premature concessions that could undermine leverage.
The ambassador stresses that continued sanctions and military pressure are crucial to reaching a favorable agreement. He insists that any deal must address both Iran’s nuclear activities and its ballistic missile program to secure lasting peace and stability in the region. This approach reflects Israel’s broader strategic concerns about Iran’s influence and capabilities.
