In an interview with DW, Ron Prosor, Israel's ambassador to Berlin, expressed concerns about the persistent negative portrayal and questioning of Israel's legitimacy. He highlighted a perceived absence of understanding and sympathy towards Israelis who face ongoing threats and attacks. Prosor pointed out that this atmosphere of demonization complicates the situation for Israel on the international stage.
Regarding regional conflicts, particularly involving Iran and Lebanon, Prosor suggested that current circumstances present a significant opportunity to alter the balance in the Middle East. He implied that these developments could lead to substantial changes in the geopolitical landscape, offering Israel a chance to reshape its relations and security environment in the region.
