Here is what the page “Israeli Settlers Attack West Bank Village, Clash with Security Forces” contains. In the early hours of Tuesday, more than 100 Israeli settlers attacked a village in the northern occupied West Bank, injuring three members of Israel's security forces and burning two Palestinian homes, according to authorities and residents. The attack occurred as the military was attempting to escort a Palestinian family back to their home in the village of Jalud, after they had been displaced by settler attacks two months prior. ABC journalist Jordana Miller reports on the incident, which highlights the ongoing tensions and violence in the region.
The settlers' assault on Jalud is part of a pattern of increasing settler violence against Palestinian communities in the West Bank. The attempt to return the displaced family to their home was met with resistance, leading to clashes and destruction.
