“ITV Studios Unveils Andrea Riseborough Moon Drama, ‘The Voice’ Estonia and More Amid Media” — what this page in the network covers. ITV Studios opened Mipcom in Cannes on Monday with a slate that ranges from a moon-bound Andrea Riseborough drama to a new Estonian edition of ‘The Voice’ and the return of a beloved U.K. The company is showcasing the lineup while its parent, ITV plc, explores a possible sale of its production and distribution arm, a move that could reshape the global content market.
Riseborough, an Oscar nominee for ‘To Leslie,’ will star in a new scripted project that adds to ITV Studios’ growing portfolio of high-end dramas aimed at international buyers. Meanwhile, the expansion of ‘The Voice’ into Estonia underlines the enduring value of unscripted formats, which travel easily across borders and generate reliable revenue.
