A closer look at “Joan Jett and the Blackhearts Celebrate 45 Years of ‘I Love Rock ‘N Roll’ with Anniversary”, exactly as the source publishes it. Rock & Roll Hall of Famer Joan Jett and her band the Blackhearts are marking the 45th anniversary of their iconic album ‘I Love Rock ‘N Roll’ with a special limited edition release. Titled ‘I Love Rock ‘N Roll + The Shadow Album,’ the collection arrives on December 11, 2026, in two-record vinyl and two-CD formats. The set pairs the original 1981 album with a previously unreleased companion record known as the ‘Shadow Album,’ offering fans a deeper look into the era that produced Jett’s signature hit.
The original album, which topped the Billboard 200 and sold over 10 million copies, cemented Jett’s status as a rock pioneer.
