Jon Stewart, host of "The Daily Show," humorously speculated that President Donald Trump might have been under the influence of psychedelics during a recent bill signing. The bill in question aims to expedite FDA approval for psychedelic treatments for veterans suffering from PTSD.
Stewart described Trump's behavior at the signing as "weird as s—" and comically questioned if the president had ever "really looked at your signature, on weed?" The segment highlighted the growing interest in psychedelic medicine and its potential therapeutic benefits, particularly for veterans. Stewart used his signature satirical style to comment on the perceived disconnect between the bill's serious purpose and Trump's unusual demeanor, prompting a broader discussion on mental health treatment and political commentary through humor.
