Here is what the page “Jon Tower Named Executive Producer of Revamped 'CBS Mornings'” contains. Jon Tower has been officially named executive producer of CBS Mornings, solidifying his leadership role at the revamped morning show. The announcement was made Friday in a memo from Tom Cibrowski, president of the Skydance news unit, which oversees CBS News. Tower, a morning-news veteran, had been serving as interim manager of the program and now takes on the permanent position.
His appointment comes as CBS Mornings undergoes significant changes under new ownership, with the task of narrowing its focus and boosting competitiveness in the crowded morning TV landscape. Tower's experience and steady hand are seen as critical to guiding the show through this transition and building on its journalistic strengths. The move signals stability for the broadcast's team and a clear direction for its future. The full version stays on the original page, which this listing opens directly.
