Here is what the page “Jordan Peele’s 5 Upcoming Movies: From ‘Portrait of God’ to ‘The People Under the Stairs’” contains. Jordan Peele has five feature projects in development, including his next directorial effort, Portrait of God, and a remake of Wes Craven’s The People Under the Stairs. Peele is producing the latter through his Monkeypaw Productions, with a script by Ezra Claytan Daniels. Portrait of God, which Peele will write and direct, is slated for a 2026 release but plot details remain under wraps.
Other announced titles include an untitled project with Universal, a remake of The ’Burbs, and a collaboration with Keegan-Michael Key. Peele’s track record of blending social commentary with genre thrills—seen in Get Out, Us, and Nope—makes each new announcement a cultural event. With five films in the pipeline, Peele is solidifying his role as one of Hollywood’s most bankable auteurs, and audiences can expect more provocative, thought-provoking horror in the years ahead.
