Netflix's adaptation of Mark Millar’s Jupiter's Legacy, an 8-episode sci-fi series aiming to blend the biting satire of The Boys with the emotional depth of Invincible, has underperformed despite high expectations.
The show centers on a family of aging superheroes—led by the iconic George (played by Frank Langella) and his daughter Chloe (played by Leslie Bibb)—who face moral decay, generational conflict, and the rise of a new generation of morally ambiguous heroes. Though the series boasted a star-studded cast and a bold premise rooted in Millar’s comic book universe, it struggled to capture the same cultural resonance as its genre predecessors.
