A closer look at “K/DA Returns: Riot Games’ Virtual K-Pop Group Drops ‘Firestarter’ After 6 Years, With Anim”, exactly as the source publishes it. After a six-year hiatus, Riot Games’ virtual K-pop sensation K/DA is back with a new single, “Firestarter,” accompanied by a music video crafted by Fortiche Production, the French animation studio behind the acclaimed Netflix series Arcane. The comeback marks the first new music from the League of Legends-themed group since their 2018 debut EP, which spawned hits like “POP/STARS” and “MORE.” K/DA, comprised of virtual members Ahri, Akali, Evelynn, and Kai’Sa, originally blurred the lines between gaming and pop culture, amassing millions of streams and a dedicated fanbase.
The new release signals Riot’s continued investment in music as a core part of its expanding entertainment universe, leveraging the prestige of Arcane’s animation to elevate the project. The full version stays on the original page, which this listing opens directly.
