“Kacey Musgraves Announces 16-Song Album ‘Middle of Nowhere Vol. 2: Tex Mex Tapes’ for Janu” — what this page in the network covers. Kacey Musgraves is set to release her next studio album, “Middle of Nowhere Vol. 2: Tex Mex Tapes,” on January 15, 2027, via Lost Highway Records. The 16-track collection of all-new material arrives just eight months after Vol. 1, continuing a prolific period for the Grammy-winning singer-songwriter.
The album expands on themes of solitude and introspection, building on the sonic and lyrical foundation laid by its predecessor. Musgraves, known for blending country, folk, and pop with sharp emotional insight, appears to be doubling down on the intimate, stripped-down approach that defined the first volume. The quick turnaround between releases signals a deliberate creative arc, offering fans a deeper look into her current artistic headspace.
