‘KPop Demon Hunters’ Team Already Has an ‘Andor’-Style Idea for the Sequel [Exclusive]

The creative team behind KPop Demon Hunters has revealed an early concept for a potential sequel that takes a starkly darker turn, drawing inspiration from the tone of Andor. Rather than focusing on action and spectacle, the proposed storyline would delve into the psychological toll of battling supernatural forces within the K-pop industry. The idea centers on the internal struggles of former performers now caught in a web of surveillance, manipulation, and hidden agendas.

This narrative shift aims to explore systemic corruption beneath the glittering surface of fame. The team envisions a slower-burning, character-driven drama where personal sacrifice and moral ambiguity define the journey. While still in development, the concept reflects a desire to expand the franchise beyond its initial premise, offering a more grounded and introspective take on the world they created.
