Here is what the page “Lakers Could Sign Former Luka Doncic Lob Threat After Mavericks Waive Center” contains. The Los Angeles Lakers are actively seeking a third center to bolster their frontcourt depth, and a familiar face from Luka Doncic's Dallas days just hit the open market. The Mavericks waived a former Doncic teammate known for his rim-running and lob-finishing ability, creating a potential low-cost opportunity for the Lakers. With Doncic now in Los Angeles, reuniting him with a player who thrived on his pick-and-roll passes could instantly improve the Lakers' second-unit offense.
The move would address a clear roster need while leveraging existing chemistry. For a Lakers team thin on reliable big men behind their starters, this waiver pickup could be a smart, low-risk addition. Keep an eye on whether Los Angeles moves quickly to secure the former Maverick before other contenders enter the mix.
