Here is what the page “Leaked Mass Effect: Universe Trailer Reveals Heartbreaking Glimpse of Canceled BioWare Gam” contains. A leaked trailer for the canceled Mass Effect 5, reportedly titled Mass Effect: Universe, has surfaced on Reddit, offering a tantalizing look at what could have been. The footage, which appears to be in-engine using pre-production assets, introduces a male protagonist flirting with a mysterious Asari in a bar before a fight breaks out. The tone is notably darker and more mature than BioWare's recent Dragon Age: The Veilguard, capturing the essence of the original trilogy.
The leak comes just days after EA announced the shutdown of BioWare, canceling both Mass Effect and Dragon Age franchises. Fans are mourning the loss, especially after seeing how promising this new direction looked. The trailer ends with 'Coming soon,' a cruel reminder that the game will never be released.
