Manchester United defender Lisandro Martinez has launched a scathing attack on the club's transfer strategy following a disappointing defeat to Atletico Madrid. In a bombshell interview, the Argentine international criticized the hierarchy for failing to address key squad weaknesses during the summer window, pointing to a lack of depth and quality in crucial areas. Martinez, who joined from Ajax for £57 million in 2022, did not hold back as he questioned the decision-making at board level, suggesting that the club's recruitment has left the team ill-equipped to compete at the highest level.
