“Mafia 2 and Mafia 3 PS5 and Xbox Series Upgrades Likely After ESRB Rating Leak” — what this page in the network covers. Mafia 2 and Mafia 3 appear headed to PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/S with visual enhancements, based on a new ESRB rating spotted online. The ratings board listing suggests that 2K Games is preparing current-gen versions of the acclaimed crime dramas, though no official announcement has been made. Mafia 2 originally launched in 2010 and received a remastered Definitive Edition in 2020 for PS4 and Xbox One, while Mafia 3 debuted in 2016.
This potential upgrade would bring both titles natively to the latest hardware, likely offering improved resolution, frame rates, and faster loading times. For fans of the series, the move signals continued support for the franchise following the 2020 release of Mafia: Definitive Edition.
