Content overview: “Manchester United Suffer Dismal 4-1 Champions League Defeat at Como, Winless Streak Hits S”. Manchester United’s woes deepened on Tuesday as Michael Carrick’s side were comprehensively beaten 4-1 by Como in the Champions League, extending their winless run to seven matches. Como, playing with confidence and precision, tore apart United’s defence repeatedly, leaving Carrick facing serious questions about his team’s form and mentality.
The result leaves United’s European campaign in serious jeopardy, with qualification for the knockout stages now hanging by a thread. Como, by contrast, were clinical and deserved their emphatic victory, delighting the home crowd at Stadio Giuseppe Sinigaglia.
