The Manhattan District Attorney’s Office has launched an investigation into allegations of sexual assault against Congressman Eric Swalwell of California. Multiple women have reported incidents of misconduct, with one alleging that Swalwell assaulted her in a New York hotel room. The investigation is part of a broader scrutiny of the congressman's conduct, who is currently seeking election as governor of California. Swalwell has publicly denied all accusations. The probe marks a significant development in the ongoing legal and political implications surrounding the claims.
