“Match of the Day hosts Mark Chapman and Kelly Cates reportedly dating after ex-girlfriend'” — what this page in the network covers. BBC Sport presenters Mark Chapman, 52, and Kelly Cates, 49, are reportedly in a romantic relationship, according to recent reports. The news comes after Chapman's ex-girlfriend, Clere Collier, allegedly confronted him over suspicions that he was dating Cates while they were still together. Chapman and Cates are both well-known faces on BBC's flagship football programme, Match of the Day, where Chapman is a regular host and Cates recently joined the presenting team.
The pair have worked together on various BBC sports broadcasts, and their on-screen chemistry has long been noted by viewers. However, the personal nature of their relationship had not been publicly confirmed until now. The reports suggest that the relationship developed over time, possibly overlapping with Chapman's previous relationship, which led to the confrontation from Collier.
