Here is what the page “Miranda Otto Series ‘Thou Shalt Not Steal’ and Scandi Drama ‘The Trio’ Acquired by The Net” contains. The Network, the free streaming service founded by Aram Rappaport, has acquired U.S. rights to two international drama series: the Australian outback thriller Thou Shalt Not Steal, starring Miranda Otto, and the Scandinavian drama The Trio. The deal underscores The Network’s strategy of debuting one show at a time to build audience engagement, a model that has helped it stand out in the crowded streaming market.
Thou Shalt Not Steal, which features Otto in a central role, is expected to draw fans of the acclaimed actress, known for her work in The Lord of the Rings and Homeland. The Trio, a Nordic noir series, brings the region’s signature atmospheric tension and complex character dynamics to American viewers.
