Content overview: “Nathan Fielder Reveals Surprise Elizabeth Holmes Call: 'I Trust You' in Exclusive WIRED In”. Nathan Fielder, codirector of the new series "You Can See Everything," opens up in an exclusive WIRED interview about an unexpected phone call from Elizabeth Holmes, the disgraced Theranos founder. Fielder, known for his cringe comedy and explorations of deception, says Holmes told him, "I trust you," a moment that blurs the lines between truth and performance. Fielder reflects on the responsibility of portraying real people and the power dynamics at play when a notorious figure reaches out. The interview highlights why Holmes's outreach matters: it underscores the ongoing cultural fascination with her rise and fall, and raises questions about who gets to control their own narrative.
