Here is what the page “Netflix Drops First Narnia: The Magician's Nephew Trailer From Greta Gerwig” contains. Netflix has unveiled the first trailer for Greta Gerwig's adaptation of C.S. Lewis's The Magician's Nephew, marking the first installment in the streamer's planned Narnia universe. The film, which serves as a prequel to The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe, explores the creation of Narnia and the origins of the White Witch.
Gerwig, known for Barbie and Little Women, brings her signature visual style to the classic fantasy, with the trailer showcasing sweeping landscapes, otherworldly portals, and the iconic moment of Aslan's song bringing the world to life. While casting details remain largely under wraps, the teaser hints at a faithful yet fresh take on Lewis's beloved novel. The project is a major bet for Netflix, which acquired the rights to all seven Narnia books in 2018 and aims to build a franchise to rival Harry Potter or The Lord of the Rings. The full version stays on the original page, which this listing opens directly.
