The announcement, made in March 2024, marks the latest move by Netflix to expand its library of emotionally driven, character-rich stories following the success of Prime Video’s Every Year After. Set in the sun-drenched coastal town of Seabrook, Maine, the series will explore themes of second chances, identity, and unexpected love through the journey of a reclusive artist and a charming small-town doctor who reconnect with each other after a decade apart.
