Wild Horse Nine, a 2026 spy crime drama comedy directed by an unnamed filmmaker and starring John Malkovich, Sam Rockwell, and Steve Buscemi, is set to premiere in theaters on November 6. The film follows two long-time CIA agents, Chris and Lee, as they are sent from Santiago to Easter Island shortly before the 1973 Chilean coup. Amidst the island’s ancient statues, the partners confront personal demons and unravel a web of conspiracies tied to their shared history. Distributed by Searchlight Pictures, the movie blends suspense, dark humor, and historical tension within an early 1970s setting.
